MediaTek All set to announce flagship chipset Dimensity 9200 on November 8
MediaTek, one of the leading chipset makers, has today officially confirmed that the company’s upcoming flagship processor for smartphones, dubbed MediaTek Dimensity 9200 will be officially announced on 8th November.
The teaser posters shared by the company indicate that for the upcoming processor, MediaTek has focused on offering top-class performance and ultra-low power consumption. It also hopes to offer an ultimate gaming experience.

As per the previous reports, the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9200 will be based on a 4nm process node by TSMC and will likely use the same Cortex-A710 and Cortex-A510 cores as before. The prototype of this chipset uses triple-cluster CPU architecture featuring 1 x ARM Cortex-X3 prime cores clocked at 3.05GHz along with 2.85GHz performance and 2.0GHz efficient cores.
Recently, the alleged AnTuTu benchmark of the Dimensity 9200 processor got leaked, which revealed that it managed to score 1,266,102, surpassing the performance of all the current-generation smartphones on the AnTuTu leaderboard. While the CPU isn’t showing any major improvements, the GPU has got a major boost.
In GPU benchmarks, the Dimensity 9200 managed to get a score of 328 fps in the GFX 1080p Manhattan 3.0 off-screen test and scored 228 fps in Manhattan 3.1 off-screen tests. For comparison, the Apple A16 Bionic only managed a score of 280 fps and 200 fps on these same tests, respectively.
MediaTek Dimensity 9200 still uses TSMC’s 4nm process. The CPU architecture is 1 Cortex-X3 large core, 3 Cortex-A715 medium cores and 4 Cortex-A510 small cores. The highest frequency is 3.05GHz, and the GPU integrates Mali Immortalis G-715 MC11.
